About the Event
We invite you to join us for Gather for “Go-Go” – as we remember and honor our beloved Amelia Rose (nicknamed “Go-Go”), who died suddenly and unexpectedly at 18 months old on Nov 12th, 2024.
We will gather for breakfast, and together we will walk in Amelia’s memory to raise awareness, fund research, and shine a light on Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC). SUDC is a category of death of a child 12 months of age or older that remains unexplained after a thorough investigation. SUDC is the fifth leading category of death in children ages one to four, yet SUDC receives no public funding.
All proceeds raised from the event will directly support the SUDC Foundation. The SUDC Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) and is the only organization worldwide whose purpose is to raise awareness, fund research, and serve those affected by SUDC. Schedule of events
7:45 AM: Check-in – get a cup of coffee
8:00 AM: Breakfast including some of Amelia’s favorite breakfast foods. Prepared by Amelia’s family - menu is as follows:

Homemade buttermilk pancakes

Homemade waffles (low-gluten option)

Scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage

And of course… Apple Cider Donuts (courtesy of Vesperman Farms)

Apple juice, coffee (courtesy of The Coffee Tree), milk, & water

Serving until 9:00 AM
9:15 AM: A few words from Amelia’s family
9:30 AM: 2-mile walk through the city of Lancaster and Memorial Park
10:00 AM – Noon: Activities for kids (bounce houses, crafts, etc) & Raffle Drawing
